How durable is the Brass Mud Jug?
Here’s the plating process. The brass Mud Jug is made of the same core material as the others. It is then vacuum metalized with the brass color. The Mud Jug is then baked in an oven, cooled down and sprayed a coat of clear heavy epoxy urethane. The matte-finished Mud Jug is then air dried & sprayed again, then baked once more to give it the durable finish required. Because of the clear coat, it is incredibly resistant to scratches. I know, that’s way too much info. It may scratch over time, but the finish is extremely durable.
